∑gg√e|n - Brisbanes Premier Sub-tropical Goth/metal/noise clown troupe, led by the formidable Magnus O'Pus (Vocals) and his deformed assistant David Ethix (guitars, keyboards sometimes alas). This demented duo have ruined events from west end to Sydney CBD, and they'll do it all again if they have to, and they do have to.
Currently they have press-ganged 3 hapless young souls into rhythm section duties. They have forgotten their real names after several months of solitary confinement in Magnus' meat cooler, but Magnus and David have renamed them - Cal C Um (drum hitter) Max Doubt - (bass catcher) and Jack Son, Son of Jack (another guitar, at least he doesn't try to play keyboard..)
C.A.R.E - Not sure what this acronym means but i sure know this band DOESN'T care if you don't like guitars cos they have 2.
Emotional Boogie woogie, the sort of Bush-dance band for the civlised and cultured societal remnants you might come across in the greater lore of Mad Max.
Yvette Ofa Agapow - Sophisticated Lady who needs very little introduction, mostly because I don't want to be here all morning writing a 1000 word essay, partially because I'm preaching to the choir
label head for Atopos, half of the Gorgina, the heart and brains of illawara most wanted and with a seemingly endless stream of improvised and experimental collaboration, its easy to forget that Yvette has a formidably brutal and engagingly virtuosic solo practice. Tuesday night we will see the errors of our ways and repent our forgetfulness as the Queen returns to her Throne.
